Wrong Way Day Update

“A Wrong Way Day is a day where nothing goes quite according to plan, things just won’t go the way you want them to. Sometimes it’s a good thing, thankfully, sometimes it’s bad. Sometimes it's just something you can't quite figure out. That’s what my songs are about.”

Just a quick update about my musical project which I'll be working diligently on over the summer period; I may have just finalized the tracklisting for my currently untitled debut demo EP. I posted a while back about this EP, but here is some extra information regarding what to expect.

What will it sound like? Well, for a start we'll use the word amateur. I'm not a professional musician, I don't have years of training or experience and I don't have a recording studio in my basement (I don't even have a basement!). I'm a poet with a beat up old piano and some reasonably semi-professional recording equipment. All my songs are played on piano, some are quite playful, some are deeper, some are covers. Simple, fun indie-piano-pop.

As for the elusive (and still probably open to change) tracklist:

The EP will not exist in physical form because honestly I don't see the point. A myspace page dealing exclusively with Wrong Way Day will debut with the EP and it will be available for streaming there and also as a download package on this here blog. This is all likely to happen in September, though October would be a safe bet too.

In the meantime, a reminder that 'Of Concrete Design' is released on the 21st of the month. That's this Sunday!
